Paul Horseman (Chairman):
Paul is a 6th Dan black belt. In addition he is a Club Coach and Area Examiner. He started judo at the age of 6 and has been a member of the club since then. He achieved becoming a 6th Dan in 2004. He still competes at veteran events and is a member of the British Masters Squad. |

Ricki Stott (Vice Chairman):
Ricki is a 2nd Dan black belt and a Club Coach. He joined Micklefield Judo Club at the age of 13 and was a member of the National U21 Squad. He still competes at veteran events and is a member of the British Masters Squad. Ray Stevens (Olympic Silver Medalist who started at Micklefield) was once his sparring partner. He now has four children of his own at the club and is heavily involved in coaching the junior and youth players. |

Ian Lane (Treasurer):
Ian is a 3rd Dan black belt. Ian also started judo at Micklefield Judo Club and was in attendance the very first week the club was started. He is a Club Coach and has two children who practice judo. He still enjoys competing from time to time, when work allows, and was recently a member of the British Masters Squad. |

Samantha Dobrowolski (Senior Club Coach):
Samantha is a 2nd Dan black belt. Sam started judo when she was 11 and gained her balck belt when she was 18. She was a member of the British National Squad for 4 years before she had a break to start a family. Sam has since returned after having two boys, the oldest who is now practising judo. She has recently started competing again and is also heavily involved with coaching the younger junior players and keeps a close eye on the competing ladies within the club. |

Ian Rose (Coach):
Ian is a 5th Dan black belt and a paralympic silver medalist. He started Judo at the age of 7 to build his confidence and to keep fit. One year later he won his first medal. At the age of 17 he was selected to fight in his first Visually Impaired International. He has been a regular member of Great Britain's national team for over 16 years and has achieved some outstanding results :- 4x European Champion, World Champion in 1995, bronze at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and silver at the 2004 Athens Olympics. Ian is now fully involved with coaching the competative older junior and senior players within the club. |

Paul Pusey (Coach):
Paul is a 3rd Dan black belt. Paul has been a member of Micklefield Judo Club since his childhood. Paul claims to be at that funny age where he is too old for senior competitions but not quite old enough to join the veteran circuit..... just yet. |

Alex Mason:
Alex is a 3rd Dan black belt. Alex has been a member of Micklefield Judo Club since his childhood. He was a member of the British Judo Squad and was based full time at the Bisham Abbey Judo Academy. He competed in the Junior Europeans and finished 7th. In 2003 he was Britain's number 2 and was Craig Fallon's training partner in the Athens Olympics in 2004. Alex is currently a Fireman and he continues to train when his shift work hours allows him. |
